The World Affairs Council of the Monterey Bay Area awards annual scholarships to local students attending the California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS), Monterey Peninsula College (MPC), and Hartnell College. Candidates must be high academic achievers and show interest in international affairs and/or related subjects.
Scholarship awards are based on merit and financial need. They are administered through the Community Foundation of Monterey County (CFMC), which receives applications, makes awards based on WACMB criteria, and disburses funds to the student’s college or university.

WACMB scholarships are funded by donations to the World Affairs Council of the Monterey Bay Area, including a scholarship drive each fall. If you would like to make a scholarship donation now by credit card, please fill in the information below and click the PAY NOW button near the bottom of this form.
You will be directed to a small PayPal box (like the adjacent example) where you can either log in to your PayPal account or pay with a credit card. To choose the latter, click on the light grey button at the bottom of the form that says Pay with Debit or Credit Card.
You will see a longer PayPal form titled PayPal Guest Checkout. Fill in the information on that form and and click the Pay Now button at the bottom of that form. (Do not check the box for Save my payment info… on that form unless you want to create or update a PayPal account.)
After payment is completed, you will be returned to a confirmation message on this site. A few minutes later you will receive an email from WACMB with details of your registration and an email from PayPal with a receipt for your payment. If you don’t see those emails within an hour, please check the “spam” or “junk” folder of your email account. If you still don’t see them, please call or email the WACMB office to check on your registration and payment. Contact information is here.
